Simmers Crane Design & Services was established by Charles Simmers in 1958. At first, we have provided only engineering service for Used Crane. Later on, In 1966 we enlarged it with complete engineering services, field services, and materials for Used cranes, weight handling, category "A" nuclear equipment and much more. Along with our Sister company Reading Crane & Engineering Co, we provide our services worldwide. We are specialized in New and Used Overhead Cranes, Material Handling, Hoists. We design, build and install New Bridge Crane, Jib Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Work Station Cranes and much more and also we service Used Bridge Crane, Jib Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Work Station Cranes etc. Our parts team can assist you to find parts for Used Hoist, Used Crane, Used Pendant, Used Festoon etc. Our other services include Heavy Fabrication, Manufacturing, Aluminum, Specialty Metals, Construction, Automotive, Mining and Dockside Material Handling and Utility like Fossil Fuel, Hydro, Nuclear Plants and much more. After we got certified with Federal regulation 29 CFR Part 1918, U.S. Department of Labor has authorized Simmers to inspect, test, and certify Maritime shore based material handling devices such as New and Used cranes, derricks, spouts and much more. Our service includes Inspections, including ASNT, Levell II, Nondestructive Testing, Structural Inspection and Repair, Mechanical Inspection and Repair, Electrical Inspection and Repair, Load Testing Repair Services, Preventive Maintenance and also we provide 24 Hours Service.
